The elevated availability of Flash® technology across multiple platforms mainstreams the implementation of this technology with relative support to majority of the browsers with minimal compatibility issues. A deployed media therefore remain consistent when executed in any web browser of any operating system. However this consistency entails high dependency towards versioning, hardware capability and network speeds; these are all at the end-user level, but the incapacity must be relayed to the audience by providing descriptive support on how to obtain the right browser plugin to enable flash, which software version to use, and similar intents. Deploying an HTML version of the website will also help if the issue originated from end-user hardware incapability such as slow internet (e.g. dial-up). Flash® can be a disadvantage because it mandates increased bandwidth requirements to load the page and consumers do not always have access to this spice of internet life.

The use of Flash® varies and conforms to the objective of the developers. The flashy nature of the produced animation can catch the attention of the visitors. This technique is good in implementing banner ads, carousels, slideshows, and similar elements to complement any marketing initiatives or to spotlight and emphasize on an important and significant article. This website provided a glimpse on what their company does as far as the service their rendered and the quality of their manufactured parts in a slideshow animation (with high quality images). A visitor of this page can have a quick view of the company’s capability, a passive method that can persuade potential customers to make a purchase.

The exulted interactivity and animations brings life to the website where the viewers can get captivated to browse the page deeper with enjoyment. Flash® is a perfect tool for artists to deploy their portfolios to intrigue and appeal the viewers and also passively lure potential customers.

This dynamic technology also complements viewing and usability to simplify end-user web experience; for instance department store weekly ads can be transformed virtually for consumers to view online (e.g. Target Weekly Ad). This enhances the shopping experience and gives excitement to the customers as they look for deals.
